Hi guys I had an boilie idea over the weekend and poped in to my local supermarket and found some interesting things to add to my recipe. I also went down my local tackle shop and bought so boilie making ingredients. I think these boilies could be a right winner and can’t wait to test them out and start tweaking it.
After 24hours of air-drying these baits the smell really comes out of them but not to overpowering.
Here the recipe so far:
- 6oz semolina
- 4oz soya flour
- 2oz vitalin (blended finely)
- 4oz cream coconut (find it in the Asian section of any supermarket and tastes great as well)
- 2oz dry milk
- mainline scopex
- yellow dye
Follow the progress of this bait by the SC1 tag.
Hi Guys, i have just received my new Gardner gun and 16mm rolling table so i thought ill knock up something to try my new gear out. Its basically the same as the MVM ingredients but some slight changes, minus the chilli and garlic:
Hopefully will be testing my baits out soon and posting my feedback look out for the tag #HHM
Hi Guys I thought I’ll add a post about my recent experiment to add vitalin to a boilie basemix. Because of the large bits in vitalin a blender is needed. Blend for about a good 15 minutes then removed the bigger bit with a sieve as this will effect your rolling for the boilie mix. I put together a mix today which I think is gonna be killer on the lakes and hopefully will be testing it soon. Look out for the tag #MVM
The ingredients for this mix are:
